Welcome to Everest Women Treks, a unique name in the high mountain tourism world. EWT leaders, Maya Gurung and Shailee Basnet climbed Mt Everest in the year 2008. While Shailee led the world’s first female team across the Seven Summits, Maya is a pioneering climber, first Nepali female to lead the ascent of an unclimbed peak in the Jugal mountain range, among other achievements.

With EWT, the leaders have poured their nearly two decades of experience in designing adventures that challenge the physical body and nourish the sense of self. EWT trips are for mind, body and community.
